1. The deal
By installing or using Villages Cart Path (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. The app
Villages Cart Path is a mobile app that helps residents of The Villages, Florida navigate by golf cart. It is operated by High Altitude Code, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Holding Company of The Villages, Inc.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices you own or control.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer the app or any of its data files
- Redistribute the app or its data files
- Use the app to compete with us commercially
4. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and is in active development. Some features described in our marketing or documentation may not yet be implemented. Information shown by the app may be inaccurate or out of date. Use the app as one input among many — visual cues, traffic signs, and your own judgment always take priority.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Villages Cart Path and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including injuries, property damage, or losses caused by inaccurate routing, missed turns, or any other software-related issue.
You assume all risks associated with operating a golf cart.
6. Trademark notice
THE VILLAGES® is a registered trademark of Holding Company of The Villages, Inc. Villages Cart Path is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Holding Company of The Villages, Inc.
We refer to The Villages only in a descriptive (nominative fair use) sense to identify the geographic area the app supports.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute is exclusively venued in the state and federal courts located in Colorado.
